I'm finally registered!

So after a month of pre-planning and obssessively checking the CCS website for the 2009 start dates I HAVE FINALLY ENROLLED! Woohoo! I jumped the gun a little however - When I went to enroll I was planning on signing up for the Kilimanjaro site. Thats the site I have been planning on all along because you have access to alot more things that I'm interested in like volunteering at the Kili Kids Orphanage, visiting the Maasai Tribe and meeting their elders, and northern Serengeti Safari's! I signed onto the CCS website to see if the start dates had gone up yet and they finally had! I was so excited because I've been checking the website everyday since early April! So I started the enrollment process and chose the Kilimanjaro site, but when I went to choose my 6 week duration it said that I could only stay for 3 weeks. I was a little disappointed but I decided I would go to the Bagamoyo site since they had room for me to stay for 6 weeks.
Within a few minutes I got a call from my program manager, Libby. She answered all my questions and got me all set up. I decided to ask her how the Kilimanjaro site filled up so fast - the start dates had only been out for a few minutes! Apparently, there was a computer glitch. No one has enrolled for 2009 except for me! HAHA! I guess I'm a little ahead of myself. Oh well!
Libby was fabulous and is switching my enrollment to the site I originally wanted!
So... I'll be volunteering in Tanzania June 27, 2009 to August 8, 2009!
I can't wait!
